Watermark depicting goddess Aphrodite at the right hand of the banknote. When the banknote is held up to the light, the watermark is visible from both sides of the banknote.
Multi-redundant hologram on silver foil in the form of the Cyprus map near the centre at the bottom of the banknote. Images of the Emblem of the Republic of Cyprus and the number "20", which is the denomination of the banknote, appear in holography with the colours changing according to the angle of viewing.
Latent image at the bottom left-hand corner of the banknote. The number "20" appears when viewed at an angle of 90° .
